As a business, it’s vital to be able to trust your customers. This will allow you to deliver the best experience possible for them, inspire loyalty and advocacy, and ultimately lead to repeat purchases. Creating a sales funnel that puts your customers at the center will help you achieve all of this. Rather than a traditional marketing/sales funnel that is centered around attracting, engaging and converting leads into sales, a trust funnel aims to optimize each of these stages to support the last two by building and strengthening customer relationships.
At the top of your sales funnel is brand awareness. This can be accomplished through a variety of marketing channels including SEO, social media, PPC campaigns, landing page optimization, and more. During this stage, it’s important to remember that your prospects are not yet ready to purchase anything from you. In order to gain their trust, you must provide value through educational content that addresses their pain points and concerns.
A good way to do this is by using a blog that features informative posts and infographics on topics that your audience is interested in.
Once your prospects enter the engaged stage of your sales funnel, they will be ready to consider your products as solutions to their specific pain points and needs. In this stage, you will need to use content such as case studies, product comparisons, webinars, and demos to convince them that your product is right for them. It is also a good idea to incorporate reviews and testimonials from previous customers, as this will give your prospects a sense of confidence and security.
During this stage, it is essential to provide a seamless and efficient purchasing process. Make sure that your website and any third-party channels you utilize are designed with this in mind. By providing a smooth experience, you will ensure that your prospects don’t leave your sales funnel due to frustration. Additionally, it is a great opportunity to encourage repeat purchases by offering a loyalty program that will give your customers additional benefits for being loyal to your brand.
Once your prospects reach the decision stage of your sales funnel, they will be prepared to make a purchase. This is a great time to highlight the benefits of your products and offer them at an attractive price point. It is also a good idea to include a trial period so that your prospective customers can decide whether or not the product is a good fit for them.
A successful sale will not only generate revenue, but it will also help you build trust with your prospects and establish your business as an authority in your industry. This will have a positive impact on your business in the long run. As a result, you will see an increase in your sales and conversion rates.
